   Sue Ellen Zirkle, 71, of Pomeroy, Ohio passed away on April 8, 2012.  She was born on September 5, 1940 in Columbus, Ohio daughter of the late Theophilus Smith and Gladys Gertrude Smith.
   She graduated from the Holzer School of Nursing in 1961 as a registered nurse and was a longtime member of the Pomeroy Emergency Squad.  She was a member of Pomeroy Order of the Eastern Star #186.
   She is survived by her sons, Bryan and Julie Zirkle of Pomeroy and Brent and Tammi Zirkle of Pomeroy; grandchildren, Gage Zirkle, Sydney Zirkle and Breanna Zirkle.
   In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Zirkle.
   Funeral services will be on Friday, April 13, 2012 at 11:00am at the Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home in Pomeroy with Pastor Gary Ellis officiating.  Burial will follow at Beech Grove Cemetery.  Visiting hours will be on Thursday from 5-8pm at the funeral home.  A registry is available at www.andersonmcdaniel.com.
