Lawrence “Mack” Stewart, passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at the Overbrook Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Middleport.  He was born on October 14, 1930 in West Columbia, West Virginia to the late Jesse Lawrence and Elsa Stewart.
Mr. Stewart was a member of the American Legion Post 128 Feeney-Bennett in Middleport, he served as an elder at the Middleport Church of Christ where he was a member, and he retired from the Kyger Creek AEP plant.  Mr. Stewart served in United States Army in the Korean War.  

He is survived by his wife Bea Stewart

Grandchildren; Cindy and Ron Lucas, Jonathan Stewart, Tyler Stewart, Amorette and Carolann Stewart, Jacob and Brody Stewart

Brother and Sister-in-Law; Robert and Judy McKinney
Several Nieces and Nephews

He is preceded in death by his parents, Father and Mother-in-law; Clarence and Evelyn Murray and a Sister-in-Law; Arizona Stewart

Services will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2010 at 10:00am at the Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home in Middleport with Al Hartson officiating.  Burial will follow at the Riverview Cemetery in Middleport. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 29, 2010 from 6-9:00pm at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Mr. Stewart’s name to the Middleport Church of Christ, 437 Main St., Middleport, OH 45760

Military Rites will be handled by the American Legion Post 128 Feeney Bennett, Middleport.
