Jeff Tillis, 59, of Rutland, passed away at his residence after an extended illness. He was born on February 14, 1951, in Mason, WV, son of the late Pauline Halley Tillis and John Tillis.  He was a member of Moose Lodge 731, Point Pleasant, WV, and the Harrisonville Masonic Lodge.  He was employed as a coal miner.  He attended the Hysell Run Holiness Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his sister, Denise Tillis.

He is survived by:
Wife: Debby (Hall) Tillis
Son: John Michael Roush and wife Christy Roush
Daughters: Jodi L. Young and husband Wes R. Young
           and Casey Tillis
Grandchildren: Victoria Young, Madison Young, Jake Roush
           and Carlee Smith

Brothers and Sisters: Butch Tillis, Danny Tillis, Dennis (Buck) Tillis, Mike Tillis, Tim Tillis, Susie Roush, Peggy Dewees

Service will be held at 2:00P.M. on Sunday, June 27, 2010, at Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home in Pomeroy.  Officiating will be Pastor Larry Lemley.  Burial will be in Miles Cemetery. Friends may call on Saturday, June 26, from 5:00-8:00P.M. at the funeral home.
