Autumn M. Buskirk 50, of Middleport Ohio passed away on December 9th, 2024 at home surrounded by her family after an extended illness.
She is survived by her husband James R. Buskirk, her daughters Mckenzie Whobrey (Eli) Parmiter, Mollee Buskirk, Marlee Buskirk, her son Griffin Buskirk, and her grandson Fletcher Parmiter. She is also survived by her father Danny Griffith, her brother Troy Griffith, her nieces Rosanna Dillard Marcum, Hollie Griffith Doss, Heidi Griffith Kinder, and her nephews Brandon Hill, River Griffith and her cousins Cindy Baker, Jeanie Kendall, Julee Wolfe Athey and Jessica Stobart Johnson. She is preceded in death by her Mother Nancy Carr Griffith, her sisters Regina Griffith Hill and Kellee Griffith Hill, her Uncle Ronnie Carr, and Aunts Charlotte Wolfe, Rita Yeauger, and nephews Colton Hawk and Boone Griffith.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at 1:00pm with Pastor Adam Will officiating at Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home in Pomeroy, Ohio. Visitation will be from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home in Pomeroy, Ohio. She will be buried at the Chester Cemetery near her mother Nancy and her sister Regina following a brief graveside internment ceremony.
The family requests donations be made in lieu of flowers to Shriver's Hospice of Zanesville, Ohio to aid those without insurance with end of life care. Autumn was a loving wife and mother to her husband, children and her multiple dogs and cats. She worked many years at Fantastic Sam's in Gallipolis, Ohio before becoming an EMT-I and an Ohio Firefighter where she spent many years at Meigs County EMS and was a several year member of the Middleport Fire Department. She worked at the Middleport Ohio Police Department until her diagnosis of breast cancer in 2020.
