Barbara Kay Bunch

Barbara Kay Bunch was born July 1, 1946 to the late Cornelia Bunch and Clyde Allfriend. She was a supporter and protector for her children and grandchildren, and enjoyed spending time with family. She passed peacefully while family was by her side and was called home on May1,2024, at 12:30 p.m. She was a resident of the Laurels of Athens, Ohio. She graduated from Pomeroy High School in 1967. She was a member of Forest Run Baptist Church in Pomeroy, Ohio. 

Barbara is survived by her daughters Dreama English and Gail English; Granddaughter; Haiden English (Mohammed Mubarak); Grandsons; Cornelius English, Isaiah English (Amara Helton), Elijah English (Robyn Nance); Great Grandson; Stephan English; Sisters; Carla Buffington, (Michigan); Joyce Bunch, Janice Bunch (Columbus Ohio); Effie (Martin) Johnson, Donna Buffington. Nieces; Cheryl Buffington, and Tracy (Tony) Ortiz, (Michigan); Nicole Bunch, (Columbus, Ohio) Kara (Wayne) Myles, (Indiana), Nephews; Chad Buffington (Michigan), Danny Buffington; Great- Niece; Alexis Harris and special friend; Charles Buffington. 

She was preceded in death by her mother Cornelia Bunch; father Clyde Allfriend; stepfather Orville Bunch; daughter Stephanie English; brother Eddie Bunch; sister Jacqueline Bunch; nephew Micah Bunch; brothers in law Aaron Buffington, and Dan Buffington.

Family and friends are welcomed to Forest Run Baptist Church on Kerr Street. Following the service for the Repass. 

A celebration of life service will be held on Friday May 17,2024 at the Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home in Pomeroy, Ohio from 12:00pm to 1:00pm with the service beginning at 1:00pm.
