Brynn Keith Sutphin, age 65, passed peacefully Saturday, March 7th, at his home in Rutland, OH surrounded by loved ones.
Brynn retired in August after 33 years of service at Kyger Creek Power Plant. He served on the Rutland Volunteer Fire Department for 18 years and attended Northbend Church in Mason, WV He enjoyed camping, hunting and running his beagles. He was known as “Mr. Fixit”.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Melanie “Kay” (Vujaklija) Sutphin; brother Bill Sutphin; daughters Tanya and Breana, son Brynn Jr.; grandchildren Lexi Sutphin, Maddox George, Kennedy Perry, Rylan Perry and Jackson Perry.
Brynn was preceded in death by his parents Chester and Pearl (Hunter) siblings Chester Jr., Becky, and Monita.
He will be missed by many other extended family and friends.
A celebration of life is planned for Sunday, March 15th, at Serenity Hills, 516 Adam’s St., Mason, WV with Pastor Jason Simpkins starting at 2pm with reception to follow until 5pm.
