Carter Powell French

Carter Powell French, 81, of Middleport, Ohio passed away on June 18, 2024.  He was born on December 9, 1942 in Gallipolis, Ohio son of the late Eugene and Lena French.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Susie French; children, Wayne Evan Shrimplin, and Patrick Gale (Misty) Shrimplin; grandchildren, Sydney Lynn (Thomas) James and Dale Peyton (Jessica) Shrimplin; great grandchildren, Madelyn Mae James, Chloe Shrimplin and Braxton Shrimplin; brother, Keith French; sister-in-law, Marty Nicholson; niece, Michelle French and nephew, Miles French.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Kim French.

A celebration of life memorial service will be announced at a later date.
