With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Cathy Sue Aaron, 66, of Vinton, Ohio, who went home to be with the Lord on March 14, 2026, peacefully at her home. Cathy was born July 20, 1959, in Point Pleasant, West Virginia, to the late Robert O’Dell and Ilene Mulford. She lived her life quietly but powerfully, loving the people do around her with a depth that words can hardly capture. Cathy found joy in life’s simple blessings. She loved planting flowers and watching them bloom, but nothing brought her more happiness than being with her family. Her greatest pride and deepest love were her grandchildren, who were truly the light of her life. Every moment spent with them was precious to her, and the love she poured into them will live on in their hearts forever. Her family was her entire world.
She is survived by the love of her life, her husband Thomas Aaron of Vinton, who stood beside her through every chapter of life. She leaves behind her beloved daughter, Michelle Howell, who was not only her daughter but her best friend. and her cherished grandchildren, Ruby Howell and Cainen Howell, who meant the world to her. She is also survived by her sisters, Linda Gentner of Amarillo and Debbie Campbell of Middleport, along with many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. Cathy was preceded in death by her father Robert O’Dell, her mother and stepfather Ilene and Robert Mulford of Cheshire, and her sister Bobbie Alfred. Though her family’s hearts are deeply broken, they take comfort in knowing that Cathy is no longer in pain and has been reunited with loved ones who went before her. The love she gave, the memories she created, and the kindness she showed to those around her will never be forgotten.
Memorial services will be held April 11, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the Church of Christ in Bidwell, located at 14840 State Route 554, Bidwell, Ohio 45614. Cathy’s love was like the flowers she planted beautiful, nurturing, and everlasting. Though she may be gone from this earth, the love she planted in her family will continue to grow for generations.
She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
