Clayton Edison “Chad” Weaver, 51, of Mason, West Virginia, passed away on January 14, 2026. He was born on October 21, 1974.
Chad was a quiet soul and a man of few words, but his love for his family spoke volumes. He deeply enjoyed spending time with those he loved and was always ready to help anyone who asked. Known as “the best handyman,” Chad was a mason by trade and also worked in HVAC. He was highly skilled and took pride in his work.
Chad graduated from Wahama High School and earned a degree in electrical studies. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, drawing, small woodworking projects, and listening to music. He had a special place in his heart for his nieces and nephews, whom he loved dearly.
He is survived by his mother, Ruth Weaver of Mason, West Virginia; his siblings, James and Lisa Weaver of Hampstead, Maryland; Cyndi and Dan Swiger of Mason, West Virginia; Charlie and Laura Weaver of Mason, West Virginia; and Dwaine and Gina Weaver of Pomeroy, Ohio. He is also survived by eight nephews, one niece, eleven great-nieces, and three great-nephews.
Chad was preceded in death by his father, James D. “Jim” Weaver.
Chad will be remembered for his quiet strength, kind heart, and willingness to help others. He will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
