Darlene Sue Milam of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at the Holzer Medical Center in Gallipolis. She was born on April 11, 1940 in Albany, Ohio to the late Homer Stotts and Mamie (Puckett) Stone. Mrs. Milam was an LPN for 10 years, she was a bus driver at the Gallia County Local School District for 27 years. She was a member of the Cheshire Garden Club and of the Rutlandites Group. She was a 1958 graduate of Albany High School. She was proud supporter of the Friends of Gallia County’s Animals and the Spay and Neuter Assistance Program of Gallia County.
She is survived by her daughter, Susan (Kevin) Eastman; grandson, Reid Eastman; granddaughter, Peyton Eastman; brother, Ronald (Lorraine) Stotts; several nieces and nephews, special friends, Jim and Elaine Dyer, Faye Coughenour ; as well as several friends she played cards with and her beloved cat Boo.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Henry Milam; sister, Delores Stotts Davis; brother, Andrew Guy Stotts; nephew Jeffery Milam.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at 1:00pm at the Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home in Pomeroy with Pastor Russ Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the Standish Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the service (11-1:00pm).

A meal following the committal service at the cemetery will be provided at the Star Grange Hall in Salem Center.
