Douglas Miller, 50, Pomeroy, Ohio, passed away at home on January 30, 2023. He was born on October 10th, 1972, in Gallipolis, Ohio. He graduated from Eastern High School in Reedsville, Ohio in the class of 1991.
Douglas was a beloved son, husband, father, brother uncle, Papaw, and member of the community. He believed family was everything and loved hosting big family gatherings. There wasn't anything he wouldn't have done for his children. He had a passion for giving back to the community and truly loved his clients and work at Inclusions. With him, there was never a dull moment and he never failed to make those around him laugh. 'How lucky we were to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard."
Douglas is survived by wife Mary (Perdas) Miller, his children Noah Miller and Megan (Nathan) Severance, mother Delilah Ritchie, brother Jonathan (Charity) Miller, step daughter Haley (Kyle) Sargent, grandchildren Lorelei and Addalynn Sargent, Aunt Mary Sheets, Uncle John Sheets, in laws Steve and Sandy Bailey, sister in law Lisa Catlett, many nieces and nephews and too many cousins to count. He was preceded in death by father Ernest Miller, paternal grandmother Mary Miller, maternal grandparents Frances and Ezra Sheets, his aunt and numerous uncles.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at 1pm at Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home in Pomeroy, Ohio. Burial will follow at South Bethel Community Church Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, February 3, 2023, at the funeral home from 6-8pm.
