Ezra came into this world as the spitfire he was, at only 25 weeks! From day one we knew he was a fighter. He loved his hedgehog and getting snuggles from his daddy and mommy. Easy J was a ladies man. After he flashed his nurses a nasty side eye he would give them a big cheesy grin. Ezra had the Biggest personality and made sure we knew what he was thinking with his sweet facial expressions. He defied many odds from day one and his sweet but fierce personality defitinley helped.
After 136 days in the NICU, he was able to come home and meet some of the people that love him dearly. He gave his all until the very end. He decided it was time to rest after such a long fight Friday morning June 23rd, 2023.
Easy J is proceeded in death by his Great Grandma (Mary Byrd), and Great Grandpas (Bill Davis) and (Herman Lynch). He is survived by his parents Bradley Koons, Maci Hood and his big sister River Louise Koons, along with his family and everyone who followed his journey.
We are inviting everyone to come and celebrate the life of our sweet Ezra James at Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home in Pomeroy Ohio, Thursday June 29th. Visiting hours will be from 1:00PM - 3:00PM with the Funeral to follow.
