Geraldine Ann Hanel

Geraldine Ann Hanel, 79 of Pomeroy OH. Passed away Friday August 16th,2024. She was born February 7th, 1945 in Pomeroy OH. to Estil and Dorothy Collins.

She retired from Rockwell Automation (formerly Robbins and Myers) after 28 yrs.

She spent her summers in Ohio. Where she loved to play bingo. And her winters at her home in Florida.

She is survived by her daughter Colena (Tony) Shoemaker of Weirsdale, FL. Step Daughter Kelley (Robert ) Krenek of Plano, TX and stepson Kevin (Amy) Hanel of Conway NC. Grandsons Tyler (Garnet) Shoemaker, Conner Shoemaker and Benjamin Hanel Great grand daughters Ava Whitten and Paisley Shoemaker. And many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband Fred Hanel , her parents and sister Joyce Hall. Brothers Robert ( Bobby ) Collins and Ralph Collins.

Graveside Services will be held on Saturday August 24th at 1:30 PM at Rocksprings Cemetery in Pomeroy, Ohio

Visitation will be held on Saturday August 24th from 11:00 AM to 1:00PM at the Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home in Pomeroy, Ohio
