Harold “Shorty” Dallas Cremeans, 75, of Shade, passed away on April 24, 2026, surrounded by family after a short battle with cancer.
Born in Middleport, Harold was a man who appreciated the simple things in life. He proudly served his country in both the United States Army and the United States Navy
Known to many as “Shorty,” Harold enjoyed fishing, lending a hand to his neighbors, and living life on his own terms. He was the kind of man who didn’t need much to be content just some peace, a little humor, and maybe a good fishing spot.
He is survived by his daughters, Rhiannon Cremeans and husband William Lopes Jr., and Nicole Cremeans and husband Fred House; and his beloved grandchildren, Ryuhs Lenartowick, Cara Geelen, Rayna Lenartowick, Kaitlyn Geelen, and Brooklynn House.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 30, 2026 at Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home in Middleport, with funeral services to follow graveside at Bradford Cemetery.
Harold will be remembered for his quiet strength, his willingness to help others, and for proving that sometimes the best life is a simple one.
