Helen Marie (Riggs) Grimm

Helen Marie Grimm, 92, of New Haven, West Virginia passed away on February 19, 2024.  She was born on January 19, 1932 daughter of the late Francis and Montoria Riggs.  She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in New Haven.

She is survived by her: daughters, Jackie (David) Fields and Lou (Steve) Smith; grandchildren, Tammy (Trent) Lewis, Connie (Mike) Rivers, Kelly (Todd) Doczi, Mike (Carrie Jo) Miller, Timothy (Carrie Ann) Miller, David (Amber) Fields and Matthew (Nikki) Fields; several great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and sister-in-law, Delores Riggs.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Grimm; daughters, Brenda Black and Jennifer Miller; granddaughter, Lindley Blankenship; siblings, Mary Trice, Paul Riggs, Edna Reitmire, Blaine Riggs, Jack Riggs, Rosa Lee Kearns and Kenneth Riggs; and a special friend, Herman Clark.

The family would like to express their appreciation and thanks to Overbrook Center and Marietta Hospice.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 23, 2024 at 12:00pm at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in New Haven.  Burial will follow at Graham Cemetery.  Visiting hours for family and friends will be one hour prior to the service.
