Johnny L. Nelson, 70, of Pomeroy, Ohio passed away on Monday, May 29, 2023 at Holzer Medical Center in Gallipois. He was born on September 5, 1952 in Gallipolis son of the late Leland Everet Nelson and Flossie Mae Kapple Nelson.
He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Eddie and Connie Nelson; nephew, Anthony and Cindy Lowe and family; and a niece, Angela and Darrin Roach and family.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 2, 2023 at 2:00pm with Anthony Rowe officiating at Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home in Pomeroy. Burial will follow at Miles Cemetery. Visiting hours will be on Friday form 1:00pm to 2:00pm on Friday at the funeral home.
