Joshua Allen Simpson, 37, of Athens passed away unexpectedly on March 28,2023. He was born April 15, 1985. Joshua was a driver for the Lyft Company where he had worked for several years.
He is the grandson of the late Eugene and Mary Lou Hawkins from Middleport and the late Gerald "Smoke" Simpson of Racine.
He is survived by his parents Mark and Regina Simpson of Middleport; Sister Tiffany (Bryan) Howell, Niece Nora Howell and Grandmother Shirley Simpson of Racine.
Uncle Ronnie (Frances) Hawkins of Middleport, Uncle Paul (Sue Ellen) Simpson of Portsmouth, Aunt Sheryl Rentas of Racine, Aunt Lori (Scott) Bearhs of Pomeroy, Aunt Diana Bissell of Belpre; Jan (Bill) Harmon of Racine.
Also special friends James and Liz Appel and daughters Lily and Madelyn of Washington Court House Ohio.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday, April 4, from 6:00PM -8:00PM at the Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home in Pomeroy. Funeral Services will be at 11:00am, Wednesday April 5, 2023 at the funeral home. Graveside Services will follow at Gravel Hill Cemetery.
