Judy A. Krautter

Judy A. Krautter, 78, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Judy was born on January 8, 1948, to Calvin and Betty Imboden. She was raised in Minersville, Ohio, where she developed the warm, welcoming spirit that would define her life. Judy never met a stranger and was known for her kindness, generosity, and loving heart.

She worked for many years at the Veterans Hospital in dietary services. Judy married the love of her life, Frank H. Krautter, who preceded her in death on February 19, 2024. Together, they shared a devoted life built on love and family.

Judy was the heart of every family gathering. She loved cooking for her family, especially during the holidays, and was well known for her homemade cookies, oyster dressing, and famous Jell-O cake. To those who loved her, she was so much more than a wife or mother—she was “Mom,” “Mama,” a sister, aunt, cousin, and friend whose presence brought comfort and joy.

She is survived by her daughter and devoted caregiver, Amy; her pride and joy, Brittany (Kris Henry); her sister, Nancy Arnold (Rich); her brother, Mike Imboden; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her husband, Judy was preceded in death by her parents; an infant son; two brothers; one sister; and one nephew.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home in Pomeroy, Ohio. Visitation will take place two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.

Judy will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her loving spirit, her generosity, and the joy she brought to everyone who knew her.
