Karen Lynn Haines, 76, of Racine passed away on February 8, 2026. She was born on October 24, 1949, in Minersville, Ohio.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents, Cora and Norman Grueser, and her siblings Max, Kenneth, Joe, Ada, Nedra, Donna, Carol, Kay, Joyce, and Sandra.
She is survived by her children, T.C. Hill, Nathan Haines, Courtney (Aaron) Card, and Tim (Kayla) Haines; her grandchildren, Morgan, Dana, Dalton, Alexis, and Kayleigh; her brother-in-law, Leroy Sauters; her sister-in-law, Mary Bowers; and several nieces and nephews.
Karen worked as an X-ray technician for many years, serving several local hospitals. She took pride in her career and the care she provided to others. Outside of work, she enjoyed scrapbooking, photography, and spending time at the beach, activities that reflected her creativity and love for preserving memories.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 13, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at the Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Bald Knob Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held two hours prior to the service, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Karen will be remembered for her dedication to her family, her career in healthcare, and the quiet joys she found in life.
