Katherine "Kathy" Denean Pearson

Katherine Denean Pearson “McCormick” - 74 years She was born on November 14, 1951 and passed away on March 16, 2026. 

 She was preceded in death her husband John Pearson, Father B.Y. McCormick; mother Jean McCormick - Brothers York McCormick Mark McCormick and Shawn McCormick all of St. Albans, WV.

Kathy graduated from St. Albans High School and was a long-time resident of St Albans, WV.  She worked at many department stores in the Charleston and St Albans Area as a Sales associate

She had 1 daughter Trina (Meadows) Brown (Kahlil) and 3 grandchildren Shaun Oden, Sienna Brown and Gibran Brown all of Charleston WV

She has 2 Sisters Paula Bland (McCormick) of Kanawha City WV Anna Jane Slater “McCormick” of Pomeroy Ohio; Sister-n-law Janie McCormick of St Albans WV; She has several nieces and nephews Natasha Slater of Pomeroy Oh Shannon Bland, Robin Bland and Heather Bland Kelly Honaker Megan McCormick Mark McCormick all of Charleston WV, great niece Ryann Diddle and great nephew Hunter Stewart both of Pomeroy Oh.

She moved from St Albans WV to Pomeroy Oh in 2019 and moved in wither sister Jane Slater and that’s where she lived until she passed away at home.

She had a Kind - Giving – Gentle Soul, we all loved her very much and will be missed by all
