Linda Lou Mitchell

Linda Lou Mitchell, 82, of Rutland, Ohio passed away peacefully at Overbrook Center on August 25, 2023.  She was born at home near Hobson, Ohio  on February, 7, 1941.
   She is survived by her children, Mike (Terry) Mitchell, Eric (Connie) Mitchell and Vaughan (Marybeth) Mitchell; grandchildren, Monica (Scott) Fields, Ryan (Nichole) Mitchell, Anthony (Karie) Mitchell, Taylor (Makayla Johnson) Mitchell, Tyler (Jared Gravely) Mitchell, Wyatt (Lauren Buckley) Mitchell and Bre (Hunter Johnson) Mitchell; 7 Great Grandchildren; siblings, Shirley Newland, Janice (Steve) Wardlow, Rita (Steve) Little and Gene (Connie) Halley; and several nieces and nephews.
   She was preceded in death by her parents, Eileen and Ernest Halley and her husband, Merlin Mitchell.
   Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at 1:00pm at Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home in Pomeroy with Pastor Steve Little officiating.  Burial will follow at Gravel Hill Cemetery.   Visiting hours will be on Wednesday from 11:00am to 1:00pm at the funeral home.
