Linda Thornton

Linda Thornton, 66, of Pomeroy, Ohio, passed away on August 15, 2026. She was born on December 11, 1959.

Linda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She will be remembered with love by the many family members and friends whose lives she touched.

She is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Melvin Thornton; her children, Brandon (Chrissy) Mitchell and Chris (Melissa) Kidd; and her grandchildren, Maddie, Zarianna, Daniel, Regina, and Reagan.

Linda is also survived by her special nephew, Randy Bragg; her special friend and sister, Virginia Doerfer; special friend, Darlene Sayre and several brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Linda Pauley, as well as several brothers and sisters.
