Nancy G. Morris

Nancy G. Morris 84 of Hamden, Ohio originally from Middleport, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at the Four Winds Nursing Home in Jackson, Ohio.    She was born on April 3, 1941 in Pomeroy, Ohio to the late Charles and Elsie (Little) Haddox.   She graduated from Middleport High School in 1959. She was a member of the Bradford Church of Christ since the 1960’s.   She also attended the McArthur Church of Christ and the Racine Baptist Church where she made many friends throughout the years

She is survived by her children, Danny (Angie) Morris and Carol (Morris) Anderson Poetker (Randy Tennant); grandchildren, James (Ashley) Anderson, Ross Anderson (Tiffany Stevens), Jason (Misty) Morris, Tyson (Suzy) Morris, and Danielle (Sierra) Morris; great grandchildren, Levi Wyatt Anderson, Mac Anderson, Kylee Morris, Kennedi Morris, Jenna Morris and Hattie Anderson, several nieces and nephews; special friends, Tonda Depue and Danny Brown.  

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Walter E. Morris in 2014; son in law, Sam Poetker; infant great granddaughter, Georgia Kate Anderson; siblings, Josephine Goodnite, Charles Smith and George Haddox. 

Funeral services will be held on Friday July 11, 2025 at 12:00pm at the Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home in Pomeroy with Russ Moore officiating.   Burial will follow in the Gravel hill Cemetery.   Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 10, 2025 from 5-7:00pm and one hour before the funeral.
