My sister Rebecca Triplett passed away at the Wexner Center at Ohio State on Monday June 22, 2026. Becky had been struggling since Thanksgiving being in either nursing homes or hospitals.
She was never married or had any children of her own but, after 30+ years of teaching she must have around a thousand of other people's kids.
I was with her at the end and I told her to tell mom and Karen I miss them every day.
She is survived by her brother, Gene Triplett; nieces and nephews, Michelle and Don Shelton of Gallipolis, Ohio, Russ and Melissa Triplett of Medina, Ohio; great nieces and nephews, Nate (Precious) Starcher, Jack Starcher, Brady Triplett, Addison Triplett, Cameron Triplett and Maddison Shelton; great great Nephew, Colter Starcher and Holden Shelton and Special Dog Ollie.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Edna Triplett and sister in law, Karen Triplett.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2026 at 11:00am at the Meigs Memory Gardens in Pomeroy.
