Robert Bowen

   Robert E. Bowen of Pomeroy, passed away on Friday, October 20, 2023 at the Overbrook Rehabilitation Center in Middleport.   He was born on December 14, 1937 in Corning, Ohio to the late Wilson and June (McKenzie) Bowen.   He was a sawmill operator for the Facemyer Lumber Company for many years.  

    He is survived by his daughter, Donna J. Bowen.  

   He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Mary Bowen in 2009; half brothers, Stanley and Alva Bowen; sisters, Della Mohler, Elizabeth Archer, Rossetta Frease, Opal Rickett, Jane Bowen and half sisters Relda and Minnie. 

   A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at 12:15pm at the Beech Grove Cemetery.  Visitation will be held at the Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home in Pomeroy from 11-12:00pm.
