Robert Ray Edwards, Jr., 57, of Long Bottom, Ohio, went to his heavenly home on Monday, August 7, 2023. Rob was born to Robert Sr. and Mary Edwards on August 28, 1965 in Pomeroy, Ohio.
Rob enjoyed hunting, fishing, and pulling tractors, and loved to share those hobbies with his children and grandchildren. He was completely devoted to his family.
He is a graduate of Wahama High School in Mason, WV, and was employed for many years at Century Aluminum in Ravenswood, WV, Felman Production in Letart, WV, and most recently at Forest Run Ready Mix where he made lasting friendships.
He is survived by his wife, Beth, daughter Holly Edwards, son Travis (Brittany) Edwards, granddaughters Bailey and Oakley, and step-granddaughter, Nya. Also surviving are his parents Robert and Mary Edwards, father-in-law George Pierce, mother-in-law Sally (Jim) Hill, sister Rhonda (Warren) Edwards, as well as many extended family and dear friends.
A loving husband of 34 years to Beth, he will be deeply missed.
Please join us as we celebrate his life Thursday, August 24, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. at Restoration Fellowship Church, 526 Mulberry Heights, Pomeroy, Ohio.
Services will be officiated by Brenda Barnhart McClanahan.
