Ruby Ann Davis

Ruby Ann Davis of Portsmouth, Ohio formerly of Pomeroy passed away on Saturday, August 26, 2023.   She was born on January 4, 1949 in Reedy, West Virginia to the late Charles and Roseann (McCoy) Curry.  
   She is survived by her sister, Nola Stump; nieces, Kimberly Evans, Tammy (Joe) Tackett and Kelli (John) Roush; step children, Tricia (Eddie) Baer, Joe (Laura) Davis, LeAnna (Brett) Newsome and John Moore; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; great niece, Whitney Evans; great nephews, Travis Tackett, Kyle Tackett and Justin Tackett; great great niece, Reagan Mullett and several other nieces and nephews.
   She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Billie Allen Davis; step-daughter, Lorie Moore; step son, John Davis; brothers, Don and Bobby McCoy.  
   Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at 12:00pm at the Letart Falls Cemetery.  
   The family would like to thank the staff and caregivers at the Southern Ohio Hospice of Portsmouth for their excellent care.  
   Arrangements are under the direction of the Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home of Pomeroy.
