William (Bill) was ambitious in real estate where he found deep satisfaction in his work and in the properties he helped shape over many decades. He cherished sharing meals with family at his favorite restaurants and was determined to live life on his own terms, often saying he wished he could live forever. He is remembered for his independence and his enduring passion for real estate.
William is survived by his children: Terri Carsey, Leslie(Darren Barton) Thomas, Martin (Stephanie) Ingels, John Christopher (Ann) Ingels, and stepdaughter Genora Barron; grandchildren: Scott (Donielle) Carsey, Christopher (Cassie) Hackney, Matthew Hackney, Danielle (James) Bergum, Michelle (Aaron) Hicks, Misty Diggs, Savannah (Taylor) Weaver, Daniel Ingels, Mariah (Alex) Evans, Lane Barron, and McKenzie Elam; many great grandchildren; brother Chuck “Sonny” (Shirley) Ingels and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents John and Iva Ingels, his beloved wife PennyIngels; and his sister, Janice Reynolds.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 24, at 12:00 p.m. at Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home in Pomeroy Ohio. Visitation will take place 1 hour prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Entombment will be held in Danville, Kentucky at a later date.
His memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
