Wilma went home to be with our lord Jesus Christ on Friday, January 3rd 2025. Wilma was born on December 14th, 1941 to the late Roy and Belva (Lowe) Nelson.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. Wilma was a long time member of the Rose of Sharon Church. She loved the outdoors, Flowers, Birds and especially her 4 Dogs, Family, Friends, and her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Wilma is survived by her son; Gary (Janet) Gilmore. Daughters; Carolyn Kay (Howard) Barber and Diana Lynn Landers. Daughter in law; Kacey Gilmore. Grandsons; Adam (Shellie) Tillis, Travis Gilmore, Eli Gilmore, Adam (Heather) Barnett. Granddaughters; Stacey Collins and Sheena (Jeremy) Casto; Brother, Darrell (Linda) Nelson, Sister; Leveda June (John) Yost. Her Significant other; Charles Lemley. One Great Great Grandchild; Serenity Gilmore. As well as several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Preceding her in death; Her husband Charles Gard, Son; Everett Lee Gilmore, Sister; Wanda P. Gilbert. Granddaughter; Dusty Tillis; Great Granddaughter; Alexa Gilmore, and Great Grandson; Jericho Gilmore.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at 1:00pm with Pastor Mike King officiating at the Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home in Pomeroy. Burial will follow at Poplar Ridge Cemetery. Visiting hours will be on Wednesday from 11:00am to 1:00pm at the funeral home in Pomeroy.
